Culture, traditions and customs of Turkey. • Turkey • Asia • Countries

Women in Turkey are obliged to be faithful wives and caring mothers. To go to work is permitted only if the husband agree.

So far in the provinces you can meet up with polygamy. One husband in some villages may be about six spouse. In such a family the house is divided into two halves: male and female. Korean wedding

Wedding in Korea: tradition, coupled with common sense, minus the remnants of the past and excessive sentimentality. That’s how I would describe this ritual, which, according to Koreans, they must be in the life of every young man and girl. If for any reason young people after 30 are not married, it is perceived by others as an alarm signal. Family, friends and co-workers consider it their duty to arrange a personal life of a bachelor and organize meetings with potential partners. Many are turning to professional matchmakers who, when advertising their services, saying the following: “Love is blind. When a man and a woman love each other, they see their elected representatives only positive qualities and fails to notice shortcomings. Therefore, if you are looking for your spouse, guided only by feelings, you’ll easily be wrong…”

You and whose clan?

In Korean society, there is one immutable requirement: forbidden to marry the groom and the bride with identical Ponomarev (belonging to the same genus). Pont – a kind of “pattern”, i.e., what is the basis. The Koreans can have the same name, but Pont will be different from them. PON is transmitted only through the male line.

Early in the last century, the bride and groom in Korea could meet each other for the first time on the wedding ceremony – collusion went on behind their backs, their fate did senior.

Presentation on the Culture of Japan

The culture of Japan was the result of a historical process that began with the migration of the ancestors of the Japanese people on the Japanese archipelago from the continent and the emergence of the culture of the Jomon period. Modern Japanese culture was strongly influenced by Asian countries (especially China and Korea), Europe and North America. One of the features of Japanese culture is its long development in the period of complete isolation of the country (policy sakoku) all the rest of the world during the rule of the Tokugawa Shogunate that lasted until the mid XΙX century — the beginning of the Meiji period. On the culture and the mentality of the Japanese was influenced by an isolated territorial situation of the country, geographical and climatic features, as well as specific natural disasters (frequent earthquakes and typhoons), which resulted in a kind of Japanese attitude to nature as a living creature. The ability to admire the immediate beauty of nature as a feature of national character of Japanese, found expression in many art forms of Japan.
