Experiencing the culture of Central Asia

The Chinese culture remained a dream of their influence; on one nomadism was to occur in the steppes of Western Asia and Eastern Europe, not in Siberia. Ancient Sumerian cultural state, Babylonia, already 3,000 years BC it was conquered by the Semitic nomads; then winners and losers are gradually mixed up and subsequently acted on the stage of history under the name of Babylonians. Other Semites firmly to the nomadic pastoral way of life, which is so poetically depicted in the ancient biblical stories. Even grander was the first appearance on the historical stage of the Aryan nomads. The old controversial question about the origin of the Aryans, in fact, impossible to answer, because the whole question is wrong: it intertwined two completely different issues, namely the question of where did the blond or at least white head, most of which are currently being used by the Aryan dialects, and the question of the origin of the Aryan language. We talked about the first question: the white dolichocephaly that’s the human race, which was formed under the influence of cold climate from the long-headed race, has spread across Europe and much of Asia since the time of the diluvium.

The original Aryan language, as it is established linguists, had, on the contrary, occur in the lowlands of Eastern Europe. It’s easy to conclude that the emergence of nomadic life and the resulting resettlement partly explain the extraordinary spread of the Aryan dialects. Thus it is necessary to take into account another factor: since nomadism is different from farming, having previously through a number of intermediate forms, first he rarely appears in full purity, as an economic form, is based only on breeding, but always, more or less often connected to farming. This explains why the ancient nomadic peoples with all their mobility also had a great capacity for adaptation and not necessarily gravitated to the steppes and extensive pasture areas; where the cattle are not quite satisfied, was made by agriculture, later with increasing population in Western Europe or in mountainous Iran. It is noteworthy that in the tribal tradition of nomadic Scythians a plough and a yoke, are mentioned as the earliest pieces of property and that two and a half thousand years ago from the Scythian steppes with the mediation of the Greek trading cities in the Crimea exported a huge amount of bread. The great historical acts, which stepped on the scene the Aryan nomadic peoples, the essence of the conquest and armirovanye Iran and India.

Wave of peoples in the third Millennium BC appears to have rolled from Eastern Europe through the Turanian steppe to the South and invaded first Eastern Iran to the valley of Kabul, where he opened an exit through which a part of the Aryans swept into India, populated dark-skinned head. A significant number of nomads left the steppes of Eastern Europe and Western Siberia where they are known already by ancient Greek sources under the name of Scythians. Probably under the Scythians in the broadest sense, implying all the nomadic peoples of the great European-Asiatic plain, between which, presumably, were the peoples of non-Aryan language; but in a closer sense the name it refers to nomadic pastoralists of this region, who spoke an Iranian dialect and observed their belonging to pushed further South to the Iranians and Indians. With the Iranians, as proven, were related to the Saka, the Massagetae, Sarmatians and chipped. The existence of these tribes, although they were partly engaged in agriculture, was based mainly on the possession of herds of animals, between which the cattle and the horses served primarily to provide milk.

For a long time, the Scythians were not detected tendencies to penetrate into the mountainous country of the Balkans or through the Caucasus into the region of the Assyro-Babylonian culture; and Iran was littered with their own relatives that have fallen gradually to a settled way of life. But to the East they spread very far, maybe even the Altai, and there are other Nations adopted their shopping form.
